Welcome to the Feature & Follow
Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers -- but you have to know -- the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.
The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!
How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools -- keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
What sets this Hop apart from others, is our Feature. Each week we will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Who is our Feature today? Find out below. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow our Features and ayou must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to Wordpress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don't have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed.
We pick our featured blogs randomly each week from the blogs who participated the week before.
Please be sure to feature your e-mail address clearly on your blog. Either on the main blog, on a Contact page, or on an About Me page. If I can't find your email easily, I will choose a different blog to feature.
Our Feature - The Mistress Case
1. When did you start blogging?
Late January 2015
2. What is your favorite part of book blogging?
Reviews <3 br="">
3>
3. What type of books do you mainly blog about?
Fantasy, historical romance, and contemporary (YA or NA). Anything that has a little side romance. Sometimes, I do go through those phases when I don't want romance contaminating a promising book.
4. What are your favorite books?
I have TOO MANY. There are Juliet Marillier's Daughter of the Forest and Son of Shadows. Mary E. Pearson's The Kiss of Deception. Julia Quinn's Romancing Mr. Bridgerton. Danielle L. Jensen's Stolen Songbird.
5. What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?
I discovered new books to read :D
Question of the Week: Here is €/£/$100,000. Buy something. Anything at all! What would be the first thing you choose, and why? - Suggested by Journey Through Fiction.
That depends if it's book related or not.Book: Probably the new book J.K. Rowling: A Bibliography by Philip W. Errington which clocks in at $121 discounted on Amazon. Either that or a really gorgeous old copy of Pride and Prejudice. I'd say that I'd buy a first edition of P&P or an personalized, autographed copy of Harry Potter but that probably costs more than $100,000
Book Related: I'd build a library in my house with floor to ceiling shelves and comfy chairs. Then I'd stock it with loads of books.
Non-Book Related: A really nice trip. I'd love to spend a whole summer traveling around Europe in luxury.
How about you?

How did you come up with your blog title and address? Does it have a special meaning for you? - Suggested by The Paperback Princess.

My Friday: http://myexpandingbookshelf.blogspot.com/2015/04/book-beginnings-friday-56-and-feature_17.html
OOooh niiiiiice!! I like those ideas!! A library for the house! I'd soooo want LOTS of bookshelves to fit my entire collection! Right now it's pretty huge. books are kind of "gently" shoved into places, but I hate having to lay books down on top of others. I want them all standing straight and unhindered! There's also a huge stack of books sitting in my closet. Plus more on family bookcases. So I definitely need a library like this! Love that first pic! It looks like a completely plausible version of the one in Beauty & the Beast! It's a little smaller, but more likely to be able to have in real life! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Follow Friday
Have a GREAT day!
