Welcome to Feature & Follow Friday (err Thursday) on Parajunkee.com
If you are new to the #FF fun, Feature & Follow Friday is a blog hop that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. Feature & Follow Friday is now hosted by TWO hosts, Rachel of Parajunkee and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!
*Thanks so much to Rachel for allowing me to be part of the Follow Friday fun. Parajunkee is one of the best blogs out there and FF is a highlight of the blogging community. The FF has been one of my favorite parts of my week for over a year and I'm so excited to help my fellow book bloggers get to know each other better.
How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you! Now to make this #FF interesting we do a FEATURE blogger.
If you are interested in becoming a Feature click on the link here for Follow Friday Feature or go to Parajunkee and click the drop down link above FEATURES > Feature & Follow Friday and get on the waiting list!
It is also required, that if you participate you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) and the two Feature blogs.
Our Feature - From the Shadows I Review
Hi everyone! My name's Charmaine but everyone calls me Char. I'm a 20 year old woman/girl... either or, I never know which to put. I live in the UK and I absolutely love to read books. I started blogging because I always have an opinion on what I'm reading and I guess that I wanted to share my opinions with the world. When I'm not reading or blogging I'm a full time carer for my mum. Sometimes I manage to find some spare time to crochet or write but it's not always a guarantee.
I love to read just about everything but the majority of the time I'll be reading YA. My favourite books are Stolen by Lucy Christopher, Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher, Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys, If I Stay by Gayle Forman and Before I Die by Jenny Downham.
Question of the Week: If you had to spend eternity inside the pages of a book which book would you choose and why?
Well, I'd happily spend eternity as part of the Cullen household, a student/teacher at Hogwarts, or a resident of Pemberley (preferably if I, instead of Elizabeth, could marry Mr. Darcy). Those go without saying.
Other than my ubiquitous answers, I would love to live in Avonlea with Anne Shirley. And handsome Gilbert Blythe.
On a Christmas note, it would be cool to travel around the Polar Express.
I'd also love to be a member of the Night Circus.
Now for the Follow Fun!
RULES To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
- (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
- (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers - From the Shadows I Review & Ce-Ce's Book Reviews.
- Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
- Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say "hi" in your comments and that they are now following you.
- Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
- If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
- If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!
Happy Follow Friday! Follow it up with your twitter address if you want to get that one out!

I, too, would love to be a member of the Cullen household. In any capacity (but preferably in Edward's arms. Move over, Bella!
ReplyDeleteJennifer @ The Bawdy Book Blog

http://sarahcatchingbooks.blogspot.com/2011/12/follow-friday-11.html
Yes, being in Harry Potter would be amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to fight you for Mr. Darcy though. ;)
I agree with all your answers, but I haven't read Night Circus yet. I've heard so many people sing its praises.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to live in the Harry Potter world. Leviosa! (not a very exciting spell...but oh well :-)

I considered Hogwats but decided that I am too afraid of Voldemort. Though I would like to visit it some day. Thanks for the fun question and Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your answers, Alison! I finally just saw Breaking Dawn tonight and I remembered why I loved the Cullens so much in the books. I'm sure it's no surprise that my first thought was Hogwarts...that's usually my answer for everything lol. I would love to live Anne's life too, Gilbert was so dreamy, and I adore Avonlea...and I haven't read Pride and Prejudice yet, but it's one of those books I'm sure I'll love...it's near the top of my list for 2012! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas, my dear! <3
ReplyDeletehahaha, I love your answers. Mines an obvious one too...the LOTR world. lol And no...I don't want to be a hobbit. -.- =D

ReplyDeleteAmy @ Following The Reader
wow Alison ! thanks for stoppin by this week . Thank god we don't live inside those books , that's all I can say :p
ReplyDeleteI could definitely see myself as a member of the 'Cullen' household as well. That was the series that got me started on YA, afterall. But I must say, that Dimitri probably beats Edward for me. I guess mainly because even while I will always LOVE 'Twilight' I'm sort of tired of it and am moving on to other things. (series that I can still look forward to getting new things from).
ReplyDeleteI love the 'VA' series. =D
Old follower. Thanks for the follow.
don't see myself as a cullen but definitely in the HP world....hehe great answer

Lol! Everyone wants to be a part of the Harry Potter books. I think there must be a rule that the book blogger community must be obsessed with Harry Potter or something. And have wildly different and violent reactions to Twilight...
