    OMG Sarah Dessen's "Just Listen" is awesome, I really hope you like it as much as I did! :)

    Also, seeing the Iron Knight makes me so excited to read the rest of the series! (I've only read the very first book so far, but I loved it).

    I really should start reading mangas again I just don't have a clue where to start! I still read Bleach but that's about it, and found Love Hina and those sorts quite repetitive. I love the dark mangas. Elfen Lied was AMAZING.

    Ooh, thanks for the recommendations of which Sarah Dessen books to check out! I've heard so many good things about her!

    I also got Iron Knight from Netgalley and just couldn't get into it.. :( I really wanted to like it, but halfway thru, I just couldn't do it anymore.. some of it was good, but it just wasn't grabbing me (unfortunately)

    Those two Sarah Dessen books are among my top three favorites of hers ("This Lullaby" is the other one that makes that list). Her books are always such a wonderful break from all of the paranormal YA that I read.

    Fantastic books! I really need to start the Iron Fey series---I have the first three, just haven't read them yet! Witchlanders looks amazing, I need to start that one soon, too!

    I like that there are mangas on the list. I've watched the anime version of Kekaishi. Its not easy looking for mangas here and often they are expensive. if only libraries offer them here...

    Wow, I would so be jumping on the Iron Knight!
    I can't wait for that one, but I'm thinking I'll have to!

    I have recently been dipping my toe in the manga waters with the help of a friend. I read Melissa Marr's Desert Tales Vol 1. It doesn't follow the back to front format, but it was all pictures and harsh lines and b/c I loved the Wicked Lovely Series so much I wanted to read it. I'm hooked! It is totally mesmerizing. I've been recommended Shaman King. What do you think? Have you read it?

    If you want a really good manga recommendation (assuming you haven't read it already), I would suggest reading "Death Note." It's a dark shonen paranormal thriller series about 12 volumes in length and it's just the biggest manga in the Asian world. And, it is phenomenal. It's also being made into a Hollywood film (can't wait for that!).

    I'm glad another book blogger loves to review manga!
