Check out my 2010 Book Lists - a series of VERY extensive posts reviewing and categorizing the books I read in 2010! See if your favorite is on the list or add to your TBR list!
Where She Went by Gayle Forman
April 5, 2011, Dutton Juvenile
-The sequel to If I Stay, one of the saddest, most intense, beautiful books I've read in a long time.
-I can hardly wait for this one to come out!
-Surprisingly I like this cover. I hate the creepy looking paperback cover for If I Stay and love the hardback cover: blue background, bare white tree with a single flower. I like the determined and defiant look on Mia's face here.
It's been three years since the devastating accident ... three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever.
Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Julliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future - and each other.
Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, lyrical prose that defined If I Stay, Where She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance.
I can't wait for this, either! I'd kill for an ARC!
ReplyDeleteI really want to read this one too. I loved If I Stay so much and can't wait to find out what happened to the characters!
