Here's the question of the week: Who are your favorite authors and why?

I'm Alison. My blog is quite new. I hit the 1 month mark on July 4.

My favorite authors are people who completely suck me in. Where the clock stops and the world stops turning. Three authors have done this more than others: Jane Austen, J.K. Rowling, and Stephenie Meyer. Other YA authors I really like include Maggie Stiefvater, Gayle Forman, Lauren Oliver, Richelle Mead, Jen Calonita, and Ally Carter. But it's hard to narrow down. There are many others who are just as talented.

    Thanks for hopping by my blog! To answer your question, I made my header using Adobe Illustrator- I make all my graphics through that! Good pick on choosing Jane Austen!

    Alison, thanks for stopping by our group blog For the Love of Reading. It's so funny that you got addicted to books from The babysitters club, I though I was alone in that club. I actually still have the books and that was so long ago. I'm now all grown up and in my mid 20's and still love the YA genre the most. Stephenie Meyer and Maggie Stiefvater are wonderful and I love your blog so much. I'm going to be following to see what you post next.
